Lofty Stories LLC, created by Jamila Romero, an award-winning educator, was developed to provide diverse and inclusive stories. As an educator, Jamila witnessed firsthand the lack of representation for Black and Brown children in literature and wanted to change the narrative because representation matters. As a result, Lofty Stories aims to provide empowering and inspiring books that the readers can relate to allowing everyone to Read.Learn.Grow.Together. ​

Jamila Romero has over a decade of experience working with elementary and middle school children. She holds multiple degrees from various universities across the country.
